Welcome

This is the new website for The Dove and Churnet Benefice comprising St Michael's Church, Rocester; All Saints' Church, Denstone; St Giles Church, Croxden and St John the Evangelist Church, Hollington.

Going somewhere new is never the easiest thing to do, so we hope our website helps you learn more about us, and makes that first visit easier.   We would love to say hello in person, so please do come and join us at any of the services.

Services

Our next service is on Sunday 30th June and will be a benefice celebration for all 4 churches at 10.30am at St Michael's Rocester.  Everyone welcome - young and old.  The service will be relaxed and informal for people of all ages.

The Abbey service on 7th July is an annual open air (but under a bit of shelter) service held in the grounds of Croxden Abbey.  This year's preacher is Catholic Bishop David McGough.

The Celebration of Marriage service on 28 July at Rocester comes at the end of a flower festival with a theme of wedding anniversaries.  The service is for anyone to attend, the focus will be on marriage, and couples will have the opportunity to re-take their marriage vows.
