A message from the vicar, Liz Jones
The war in Ukraine has shocked and saddened us all. As a benefice we are responding in prayer and in giving.
We have resumed worship in all of our buildings. If you are able to join us on Sundays you will find that we have done our best to make the buildings safe with sanitizer, and a safe way of distributing communion.
See each church's page for details of their usual monthly pattern of services and the notice sheet (click above) for this week's events.
There is a daily reflection on the St Michael's Facebook page.
Please contact us if you need anything, we will help you where we can. You can do this through Facebook or the 'contact us' page on this website.
We continue to pray for our communities as we resume life together.
If you would like to give a donation towards the work of any of the churches, then you can do so through Lichfield Diocese - follow this link here
Be assured that I am praying for the 4 villages that I serve and seeking ways to offer pastoral care, not just to church members, but to the wider community. PLEASE, DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO TALK TO. Phone 01889 591748 and leave a message including your name and phone number and either I or a member of my team, will get back to you as soon as possible.
Daily Hope offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship
services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line.
The line – which is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044 –
has been set up particularly with those unable to join online
church services during the period of restrictions in mind.
The Church of England has produced a booklet of prayers, including Morning and Night Prayer - here.
There are some prayers here for you to use during this time and other resources.
A pdf booklet of daily reflections and prayers here for use during the period of isolation from European church leaders
A PDF of Psalms to use in difficult times compiled by Terry Jones' friend Rev'd Roger Vaughan - here
